The Open Sensemaking Communities project is the KMi component of the Open University's Open Content Initiative. Open Sensemaking Communities (OSC) is investigating the move from publishing Open Educational Resources, to embedding them in an environment designed to support end-users (both students and educators) in engaging more deeply with the content, and with each other in self-organising communities of interest.
