Frinika is a free (licensed under GNU GPL) complete music workstation software containing sequencer, midi support, soft synthesizers, audio recorder, piano roll/tracker/notation editing and more. The goal of Frinika is to be a complete platform for making music with your computer, using the versatile Java platform to be able to run on several operating systems, and being open source to be able to embrace the best open source technology being available at any time.
Welcome to Apache Isis Apache Isis is a full-stack open source application development framework, designed to let you rapidly develop domain-driven business enterprise applications. The framework is designed around two patterns: * the first is the naked objects pattern, whereby the framework automatically generates an object-oriented user interface (OOUI) for your domain objects. If required, this OOUI can then be customized. * the second is the hexagonal architecture. This means it allows the same domain model to be run with different viewers, either as a desktop app or as a webapp. Equally, you can choose which object store to use in order to persist your domain objects. The diagram below shows the hexagonal architecture as it is implemented by Apache Isis.
Mediawiki offlinefähig machen mittels TiddlyWiki, Synchronisation angeblich möglich.
It's no fun being unplugged. That's why we've created MediaWiki Unplugged which allows you to view your MediaWiki content when you have no interwebz. No interwebz? No more tears. Like Johnson & Johnson.
How you gonna use this?
* You can review your corporate internet when travelling to a customer site
* You can refer to wikipedia when you're working in the park
* You can work on your personal mediawiki offline
* You can occupy your daughter with dinosaurs while you're trapped on a desert island
* You've had a hard month and can't afford internetz
MediaWiki Unplugged needs to run off your computer. To use it you need to download it using the button below.
Userfriendly and reliable file-splitters and file-joiners for many platforms. Windows, Linux, Java, DOS, Mac, Amiga, OS/2, etc. HJSplit creates the possibility to exchange large files between different computers and operating systems.
The Workspace Mechanic automates maintenance of your Eclipse environment by tweaking preferences, adding extension locations, and so on. You can use it to:
* Create a consistent environment among groups as large as the entire company, your local team, or even among your own many workspaces
* Save time setting up new workspaces
* Create tasks that ensure your favorite new preferences are applied to all your current and future workspaces. (This is one of our favorite features!)
(See more in Overview.)
The Workspace Mechanic has been used extensively on Linux and tested on OSX.
The PDF Renderer is just what the name implies: an open source, all Java library which renders PDF documents to the screen using Java2D. Typically this means drawing into a Swing panel, but it could also draw to other Graphics2D implementations. We hope you will come up with cool things to do with it that we never thought of.
PDF is one of the core file formats of the Internet, so it is very important for Java programmers to be able to both read and write PDFs. Great open source libraries like iText have long handled the writing half, but until now there has not been a good way to read PDFs using open source Java libraries. It could be used to draw on top of PDFs, share them over a network, convert PDFs to PNG images, or maybe even project PDFs into a 3D scene.
SQLRunner is a simple JDBC Client which helps Java developers with various methods. You can build, test and run select, update and DML statements (also callable statements with out put parameters) and export or import data in/from csv-files or XML-fi
JUF (Java Update Framework) is a framework that makes easy the implementation of automatic updates of software. It's written in Java and it has been tested in windows and linux but it's hoped it will run in any os with a Java Virtual Machinne.
This application can check for available updates. As soon as your application starts it can look if an update is available and notifys the user. As it is written in Java it is platfom independent.
Short answer: Jauus is a software patching programs that works over the internet by making a single TCP connection to the host server. It works on any java supported platform for -ANY- language or type file; ASCII, binary, java, VB, C/C++ Perl it doesn't matter. The client/server see each file as objects and pass them over the network as such.
SYMPLiK EXZELLENZ is a Java program to manipulate table data in Oracle database by using Microsoft Excel file. Unlike Oracle WebADI, More4Apps or other Excel-driven solution, this program does not use Office VBA (Macro) to process the data. It is a pure Java solution incorporated with Apache POI and Oracle JDBC driver to download, upload, insert, update and delete data from Oracle database tables.
Akka is the platform for the next generation event-driven, scalable and fault-tolerant architectures on the JVM
We believe that writing correct concurrent, fault-tolerant and scalable applications is too hard. Most of the time it's because we are using the wrong tools and the wrong level of abstraction.
Akka is here to change that.
Using the Actor Model together with Software Transactional Memory we raise the abstraction level and provides a better platform to build correct concurrent and scalable applications.
For fault-tolerance we adopt the "Let it crash" / "Embrace failure" model which have been used with great success in the telecom industry to build applications that self-heals, systems that never stop.
Actors also provides the abstraction for transparent distribution and the basis for truly scalable and fault-tolerant applications.
Akka is Open Source and available under the Apache 2 License.
he goal of XMLVM is to offer a flexible and extensible cross-compiler toolchain. Instead of cross-compiling on a source code level, XMLVM cross-compiles byte code instructions from Sun Microsystem's virtual machine and Microsoft's Common Language Runtime. The benefit of this approach is that byte code instructions are easier to cross-compile and the difficult parsing of a high-level programming language is left to a regular compiler. In XMLVM, byte code-based programs are represented as XML documents. This allows manipulation and translation of XMLVM-based programs using advanced XML technologies such as XSLT, XQuery, and XPath.
