The NiO thin film was then studied for their structural optical and electrical properties. By the help of these results we have capable to know about the structure of NiO the phase purity of the thin film X ray diffraction XRD pattern of NiO showed the diffraction planes corresponding to cubic phase respectively. The optical properties showed that with the increase in the deposition time of NiO the energy band gap varied between 3.1 to 3.24 eV. In the end IV characteristics of the thin films were obtained by the help of matlab in the presence of light as will as dark region.
