It is the same in school setting, teachers who are well motivated are more likely satisfied in their teaching career. This paper attempts to share the motivational practices of some performing countries in terms of bringing education in the next level. Findings suggest that the principal motivators for teachers are promotion, working environment and leadership of the higher authority. It was also found out that increase of workloads affect the job satisfaction of the teachers.
