Physical abuse in general included murder, assault, child abuse and robbery of children’s property. Many of the children are assaulted in the process of imparting discipline. The response to mitigating human rights challenges has been as a result of ACODEV’s active engagement with Civil Society Organizations to strengthen a Human rights programming strategy; at least more than 20 partners in Kasese and part of central Uganda successfully put forward Human Rights programming at the forefront in their work through systematic programming and mainstreaming.
