Chronic hyperglycemia aggravates the course and complicates the treatment of ulcerative defects of other genesis (postthrombo-phlebitic syndrome, lipid necrobiosis, eczema, etc.). All this determines the need for accurate diagnosis, differentiation and selection of adequate treatment in each case of the development of trophic disorders of the skin of the lower extremities.
