Abstract
Adequate nutrition at early childhood is essential to ensure the healthy growth and development of children, Breastfeeding offers health benefits to mother and child when exclusively breastfed. Children aged less than 5 years are dying due to inadequate exclusive breastfeeding practices. This study aimed to determine the influence of socio-demographic characteristics among multiparous mothers on birth order and exclusive breastfeeding practices. Four null hypotheses were tested for the study.
